Nilushan Learners was established in 1987 as an ‘A’ Grade Driving School in the heart of Ja-Ela with the aim of providing theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are essential to obtain a driving license. With the composition of highly experienced instructors, during the last 35 years, we have successfully produced over one hundred thousand driving license holders. Our company was named as the best driving school in Gampaha district in the year 2001. In the year 2006, we were able to open our branch in Kurana to cater to the demand, as we provide a quality and unique service to our clients. The primary approach of our company is based on the simple analogy that the success of our clients equates to our success as well.

Meet Our Instructor
Udugampalage Sisil Pantalion Fernando
Sisil served as a senior Clarke in Vertex Garment from 1975 to 2002. He obtained the instructor license in year 1994 and started as a driving instructor at Nilushan Learners in year 2002. He has trained thousands of students to obtain driving license. Also, Sisil is a good mandolin and violin player.
Chandrasena Ekanayake
Chandrasena is a retired Air Force Sergeant serving as an Assistant Instructor since 2017. He has completed Driving Instructor Training Program in 1990 offered by S.L.T.B. Chandrasena obtained his driving license in year 1982 and continues to share his knowledge and experience with new students.
Palliya Guruge Manel Priyashantha
Priyashantha, known as Shantha at Nilushan Learners is an ex-Navy personal served as a Master Chief Petty officer. He posses 8 years prior experience in driving instructing at Sri Lanka Navy. Shantha has 10+ years of experience at our company and continues to serve as a Driving instructor. He has completed many programs to qualify as an instructor.
Jayasinghe Arachchige Sarath Jayathilake
Sarath possess over 30 years of experience in the field. He is a senior character in the company and one of the best in the business. In addition to his experience, Sarath is one of the best flute players in his hometown. He is commonly known as Thilake in our company.
Benadic Joseph Silva
Joseph is one of the highly experienced campaigners having 33 years of instructing experience . He has served as a printing machine operator for 5 years. He renders his service as an instructor for Nilushan Driving School Negombo Branch.
Ginigaddarage Nuwan Madushanka
He is a former store-keeper at MAS activate for eight years. In year 2020 Nuwan stepped to
Nilushan Learners to start his journey as an Assistant Driving Instructor.
Munasinghe Mudiyanselage Dhanasiri Jayalath Senarathne
Senarathne completed his driving instructor course at S.L.T.B Kalutara and Assistant Driving Instructor program at Department of Motor Traffic. He is has served Sri Lanka Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer for 5 years and his service at Nilushan Driving School is 10 years.
